Do Not Get Left Out Of New York Fashion Week

Summer 2013 has unofficially ended with the official start, today Sep. 5, of New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and the international fashion week season. NYFW, Sep. 5-12, is the first major stop in the circuit of fashion’s most influential events. But alas, not every fashionista will be blessed to attend any of the coveted events.

So what’s a fashionista to do? Enter the newly revamped site, Faces of NYFW (FONYFW)! A Breed project, FONYFW brings New York Fashion Week to you by showcasing content from a handful of selected influential personalities within the world of fashion. Faces of NYFW works by receiving images and videos graciously provided by global fashionistas who are behind-the-scenes and in the front row, along with a super team of rebel fashion photogs who are undercover.

This season brings extra fabulousness via IMG Fashion with Rightster who has integrated their video player to offer 30 plus live shows from Lincoln Center, as well as full-length videos. Industry leaders who have supported FONYFW include Victoria Beckham, DKNY, Calvin Klein, Michael Kors, Jeremy Scott and The Blonds, as well as an array of top models including Cara Delevingne, Karlie Kloss, Liu Wen and Hanne Gaby.

FONYFW is not just a source for fashionistas everywhere, but the site has been used as a promotional tool during fashion week for brands and designers. Oh, and if you happen to be one of the lovelies that is lucky to be in attendance, you can participate and help all the unlucky fashionistas keep up with the season’s hottest looks. Participating in FONYFW is super easy, although not every submission is accepted for display on the site. For fashionistas attending events add #FONYFW, #NYFW or #MBFW to your tweet, Instagram, Tumblr, or Vine post and your moment will be registered for approval. FONYFW is now live and will remain running through to Sep. 12.
