On Thursday, August 28, global beauty subscription service GLOSSYBOX celebrates its third birthday with an updated look and a new social media contest. TME was privileged to interview GLOSSYBOX Founder and Global CEO, Charles von Abercron, in February 2013 and the humble CEO shared the humble beginnings of the international brand that began in a tiny office in Berlin.
Three years later, GLOSSYBOX has sent out more than 6 million boxes and services 10 countries across the globe. Selling one box every twelve seconds, GLOSSYBOX has established itself as the leading platform for beauty discovery, and has introduced subscribers to more than 500 international brands.
So, what’s in store for GLOSSYBOX and its subscribers? Beginning in August, subscribers will receive a subtly reengineered version of the iconic pastel pink GLOSSYBOX, which was redesigned to extend the duration of the unboxing experience. Product cards in the box have also been reformatted to include more space for brands to share content. Exciting stuff! But, even more exciting is the launch of the GLOSSYBOX Global Social Media Competition!
The first ever GLOSSYBOX Global Social Media Competition has three amazing prizes! Third Place will see six lucky winners from every GLOSSYBOX country receiving 5 GLOSSYBOX full-sized favorites, Second Place will see three lucky winners from every GLOSSYBOX country receiving a one-year subscription and the First Place Winner will be swept off to the GLOSSYBOX capital of their choice (Berlin, Paris, London, Stockholm, New York, Vienna, Oslo)!
