The Flyaway Knot at Phillip Lim SS15
“We have always been a global brand with a view and we take multiple views on beauty. The partnership with TRESemmé allows us to inspire women all around the world to achieve the looks that they see on our runway.” Phillip Lim, TRESemmé Designer Partner SS/15
“The hair at Phillip Lim is inspired by a cross between Stephen Klein’s 1990s photography and the romanticism of the Pre-Raphaelites, but with a punk edge. It’s a simple, organic and youthful look that allows the collection to shine whilst still being a look girls can achieve themselves.” Paul Hanlon, Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Stylist for TRESemmé
Get The Look
Step 1: Prep the hair by applying TRESemmé Climate Control Mouse through the hairline and mid-lengths to add volume and give it hold without soaking the hair.
Step 2: Rough dry with the TRESemmé Salon Professional Volume Blow Dryer and then use a soft bristle brush to pull out and straighten the hair around the hairline.
Step 3: Use TRESemmé Fresh Start Volumizing Dry Shampoo on the roots of the hair to create a matte and moldable texture and then moving around the hairline, backcomb sine sections of the lengths and lightly spray with TRESemmé Climate Control Finishing Spray to define and hold.
Step 4: Pull the hair into a ponytail at the crown of the head and secure with a hair tie. Divide the lengths into two sections and then knot (as you would shoe laces) two to three times depending on the length of the air, secure with pins and leave the ends to stick out for a “punkier” look.
Step 5: Finally pull out strands around the sides and back of the hairline and finish with a spritz of TRESemmé Climate Control Finishing Spray
TRESemmé Products Used: TRESemmé Climate Control Mousse, TRESemmé Volumizing Fresh Start Dry Shampoo and TRESemmé Climate Control Finishing Spray. Tools Needed: TRESemmé Salon Professional Volume Blow Dryer, Soft bristle brush, fine toothed comb, and hair pins.

Narciso Rodriguez’s Spring/Summer2015 collection encompasses an assortment of clean, graphic and sexy pieces. Taking the lead in creating a hair look to compliment the simple yet stunning collection is lead stylist for TRESemmé, Paul Hanlon.
Hanlon shaped effortless waves on each model inspired by the young, free and liberated woman that served as the inspiration for the collection.
