DIY Winter Skincare Tips from Skin Care Expert Ildi Pekar

With yet another Polar Vortex set to hit us -- this one’s been referenced as the “Bering Bomb” -- TME turns to famed NYC Facialist Ildi Pekar for this season’s best DIY skin-care tips. Ildi has perfected some of the prettiest faces out there like Miranda Kerr, so whom else would we turn too?

Ildi’s Top Tips to keep your face Hydrated This Winter:
  • Using krill oil/fish oil is great to have hydrated skin.
  • Stay away from scorching hot water, as this over dries your skin.
  • Use gentle products. Anything that is soothing for the skin like honey.
  • Lay off the caffeine, it does dehydrate you. (Uh oh … this one may be a serious problem for Team TME).
  • Almonds/Avocados oils are great to eat to keep your skin hydrated within.
  • Pumpkin seeds and walnuts are also very high in oil! Add it to your diet.
