Summer beauty and health essentials

If you’ve been reading The Makeup Examiner’s column for that past few days, you may have realized that I’ve become addicted to beauty and lifestyle boxes. Don’t blame me … have you tried one yet? The wonderfulness of beauty and lifestyle boxes is the variety of types to choose from and I have my favorites for specific things. You can check “Battle of the Beauty Boxes” for a complete breakdown of who offers what. But, for today I’m focusing on the healthier side of things.

With Summer is just around the corner and the team over at KLUTCHclub has curated their upcoming monthly boxes with must-have summer essentials that will leave you relaxed and refreshed all summer long. With boxes hand-picked for June, July, August and September life is looking good.

June’s box is all about taking the time to pamper yourself and get your body back on track after the long, harsh winter months. Products include: Tea of a Kind, Goldbaum's Pop Potato snacks (gluten-free), 7th Heaven natural facemask, 3-month membership to YogaVibes, Happy Family Smoothie, and NYC Music 2 free album downloads.

As the summer continues, the July box is about “Gluten-free Summer Entertaining” with a $75 gift card to BistroMD (a meal delivery program) and much more to help you entertain in style … and health. In order to keep your skin looking radiant as you head into the colder months, KLUTCHclub has created their August box with products to help improve your skin’s health. Products include: hydrating Penta water, supplements and skincare products to leave your skin healthy and you happy. To round out summer, the September box is all about endurance. With the kids heading back to school, and the holidays on the horizon, September’s products will help you keep up your endurance and stay on the top of your game.

Not included in a KLUTCHclub box, to the best of The Makeup Examiner’s knowledge, are Vitafusion vitamins. I mention this because dietary supplements are important to keep us looking and feeling our best. Vitafusion are “gummy” vitamins for both adults and kids, (kids version is called L’il Critters) which have naturally sourced colors and flavors. They are also gluten-free, peanut free, soy free and dairy free. Vitafusion products are available for about $12 at Walgreens. KLUTCHclub lifestyle boxes are about $17 and can be found at the KLUTCHclub website.

Remember lovelies -- Ugly is not a physical flaw, but is of one’s character … choose beautiful!
