6 out of 10 women wouldn’t dream of going to work sans makeup … which could explain why women frequently apply makeup while driving. This is according to a new campaign from MINI, aimed at women in Mexico. MINI states that women cause 22 percent of the accidents in Mexico and apparently this is due to women busily applying makeup while they’re behind the wheel.
In an effort to deter this very dangerous activity, MINI secretly put hidden airbags in women’s bathrooms and deployed them while women were applying makeup. After all, according to MINI more than 1,273 innocent lipsticks are destroyedeach year due to this pervasive problem!
